Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS): Key documents

The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) has been reformed and now there is a copy especially for Childminders.

The changes come into force from 4th January 2024.

The Lambeth Team will be providing more training on the EYFS reforms and how they can be applied to childminder settings. Check the training calendar for the next available sessions.

There have been changes to the learning and development requirements. The areas of learning names are the same but some of the content has changed. You may find it useful to explore the revised Development Matters - Non-statutory curriculum guidance for the early years foundation stage.
