Become a childminder

Delivered by the Lambeth Early Years Team, our 4 day home-based childcare course will help you to become a childminder.

About the course

The course is designed to support you to:

  • learn and explain the legal requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • become familiar with safeguarding children, learn how to support their wellbeing and how to help them to learn and develop.

You will be emailed useful documents to guide you through your registration and support your future Childminding career.

Our training has recently changed in line with new regulations from the Government.
