Public Space Surveillance (PSS CCTV) in Lambeth

Borough wide Closed-circuit television (CCTV), also known as video Public Space Surveillance (PSS), is used to help prevent and detect street crimes like assaults, vehicle thefts, and drugs offences. We are responsible for the monitoring of CCTV in our town centres, open spaces, and housing estates.

Housing estates

We work in partnership with Lambeth Council Housing team, Tenant Management Organisations (TMOs), and Resident Management Organisations (RMOs) to operate camera systems on many of housing estates in Lambeth to reduce crime, the fear of crime, and antisocial behaviour.

We will start updating and refurbishing estate CCTV systems in 2023.
