What we will fund 

Projects that help autistic people, their families, and those with disabilities in Lambeth get better support and services. These projects should have clear goals that match our  All Age Autism Strategy or SEND and Inclusion Strategy.

We are seeking to fund projects that:

  • Enhance accessibility and inclusivity for autistic individuals and those with disabilities in Lambeth.
  • Provide tailored educational and vocational training to meet the needs of autistic individuals and those with disabilities.
  • Offer social, recreational, and cultural activities to foster community engagement and reduce isolation among autistic individuals and those with disabilities.
  • Provide support services such as mental health support, counselling, and therapy for autistic individuals, those with disabilities, and their families.
  • Conduct awareness campaigns and educational workshops to increase understanding and acceptance of autism and disabilities in the broader community.
  • Pilot a new activity specifically designed for young children and young people with SEND.
  • Purchase resources to adapt an existing activity for young children and young people with SEND.
  • Commission training for staff to support young children and young people with SEND.

We will not fund:

  • Individuals 
  • Activities that promote a particular faith or religion.
  • Retrospective applications.
  • Projects lasting longer than 12 months.
  • Projects that do not benefit Lambeth residents.
  • Activities that promote or oppose political parties or causes.
  • Activities that create an unmitigated adverse impact on any protected characteristics or restrict access based on these characteristics.
  • Projects or activities that do not align with the All Age Autism Strategy or SEND and Inclusion Strategy.
  • Activities that have already taken place (we do not fund retrospectively).
  • Activities that do not benefit the residents of the London Borough of Lambeth.
  • Activities that promote a particular political, religious, or extremist view.
  • Activities that are part of a formal education setting's core curriculum.
  • Funding for core running costs, loan repayments, budget deficits, or endowments.
  • Fundraising events, activities for private gain, or activities that generate profit.
