Autism Action Forum

The Autism Action Forum aim to ensure that Lambeth is an autism-friendly community.

This forum will be comprised of successful organisations and autistic individuals themselves, to monitor the implementation of successful projects.  Autistic individuals and their carers are invited to participate as much or as little as they wish.

The forum will meet four times a year, addressing various themes such as:

• Improving awareness and understanding
• Building the right support in the community
• Supporting more autistic people into employment
• Keeping autistic people safe from harm

Previously, the council collaborated with members of the Autism Action Forum to host a community event celebrating Autism Awareness Week.
