Since 2018 Lambeth Council have made a yearly commitment to support the amplification of the Windrush Generation – their experience, contribution, and legacy. In 2020 celebrations took place during the first lockdown and saw 35,000 Lambeth residents, school children and businesses participating in activities, learning and storytelling.
