How do I know whether I am TTO or have been previously?
For those who are with a school on Lambeth payroll, your monthly payslip should look like the above snippet. If your payslips have “Term Time Leave” during the backpay period of 1 January 2015 - 31 March 2020, then you are entitled to a TTO back pay for the period that the Term Time Leave appeared on your payslip. (Older payslips may show the TTO leave as “Term Time Annual Leave” or “Annual Leave Term Time”.)
Additionally, your contract will also specify the number of weeks that you will work, if you are TTO. Generally this is 39 weeks however, it can vary up 42 weeks.
For those who are not with Lambeth payroll, we are unaware of how this is presented on your payslip however, it should still be stated on your contract.
Following this, if you are still unsure, please discuss this with your School Business Manager to clarify if you are a TTO worker.
We are aware that there are a few nursery nurses who are on old contracts; these contracts are actually paid all year around I.e. Full-time therefore, they are not entitled to TTO backpay.
Please can staff ensure they check whether they were TTO or a Full-time worker carefully as the Council does not have the capacity to keep going back and forth to individuals and explaining why they are not TTO after it has already been explained to them once.
