Neighbourhood planning gives communities direct power to develop a shared vision for their neighbourhood and shape the development and growth of their local area.

The Cabinet of the Council approved the designation of the Norwood Planning Assembly Neighbourhood Forum and Neighbourhood Area on 3 July 2017.

Formal consultation on the combined application took place for a period of six weeks from 3 April 2017 to 15 May 2017.
