Neighbourhood planning gives communities direct power to develop a shared vision for their neighbourhood and shape the development and growth of their local area.

Herne Hill

On 11 December 2017, the Cabinet approved the designation of the Herne Hill Neighbourhood Area in Lambeth. The application for the Herne Hill Neighbourhood Forum made by the Herne Hill Forum was refused for reasons set out in the Refusal Statement (PDF, 145KB).

Formal consultation on the combined application took place for a period of six weeks from 31 July to 11 September 2017.
