Kennington, Oval and Vauxhall Neighbourhood Plan

The Kennington, Oval and Vauxhall Neighbourhood Forum submitted the draft Kennington, Oval and Vauxhall Neighbourhood Plan (draft KOV Neighbourhood Plan) and supporting documents to the council on 31 December 2024 in line with Regulation 15 of the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012 (2012 Regulations).

The council has concluded that the draft KOV Neighbourhood Plan meets the requirements set in Regulation 15 of the 2012 Regulations. Therefore, the draft KOV Neighbourhood Plan can be publicised and undergo consultation in line with Regulation 16.

On Monday 31 March, the draft KOV Neighbourhood Plan was published for consultation for a period of six weeks.

Designation of the Kennington, Oval and Vauxhall Neighbourhood Area and Forum

On 13 July 2015 the council approved the designation of the Kennington, Oval and Vauxhall Neighbourhood Area and Neighbourhood Forum. The council formally consulted on the applications for neighbourhood area and forum designation between 20 April 2015 and 1 June 2015.

On 11 June 2021 the council approved the redesignation of Kennington, Oval and Vauxhall (KOV) Neighbourhood Forum. Formal consultation on the re-designation application took place between 11 January 2021 and 22 February 2021.

The KOV Neighbourhood Forum recently undertook consultation on the Regulation 14 Pre-Submission KOV Neighbourhood Plan. Consultation was carried out from 25 March 2024 to 13 May 2024 and is now closed.
