Community Works

We will:

  • promise to ensure our operatives are more vigilant and report defects noticed whilst carrying out day-to-day repairs
  • listen to residents’ concerns at TRA meetings and drop-in surgeries, and proactively tackle all communal issues before they escalate
  • continue to work on making the fleet NetZero by 2030 and ensure our working practice complements the Borough Plan regarding sustainability by ensuring our suppliers also buy-in to this ethos
  • continue to work with the Residents' Participation Team to identify and coordinate workshops for residents to get training on completing the repairs that fall within their remit as outlined in the Tenant’s Handbook

NRT Group

We will:

  • ensure our workforce treat all residents homes with respect and care
  • continue with our drive for carbon reduction, using materials with less packaging alongside educating our staff on all our healthy homes pledges
  • engage in continuous communication throughout our contract term, alongside collaborative working

We will:

  • create a robust inspection regime where operational managers will inspect 100 recorded estates on a monthly basis, which will improve the visibility of estates
  • work with the Lambeth Housing Team to re-establish local contract meetings

Wates Living Space

We will:

  • roll out a bespoke 'my home' mentality training course to all staff, designed in partnership with Lambeth 
  • divert 98% of waste from landfill, introduce EVs for supervisors, and minimise travel through intelligent scheduling
  • continue to provide flexible and accurate reporting to ensure there is one version of the truth
