The UK parliamentary general election takes place on 4 July 2024. Ensure you bring a prescribed form of Voter ID if you are voting at a polling station.
Located in the heart of the Town Hall and arguably one of the most impressive rooms, the Council Chamber offers a spectacular setting for your big day.
It is a double-height rectangular space, with a deep coved ceiling topped by a nine-metre-diameter dome, still illuminated by impressive Edwardian chandeliers.
It remains in its original horse-shoe shape which means that no matter where your guests are seated, they will have a great view of the proceedings.
Overlooking the chamber are two public galleries which can seat an additional 60 guests if required.
