Voluntary and Community Sector in Lambeth

VCS tender information

Lambeth Council is re-tendering our contract for Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) support across the borough for 2 years, with the possibility of a further year extension.

The deadline is Friday 28 June at 12pm.

"I’m really pleased to share another great opportunity for local providers to make a huge difference to the Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) in Lambeth. We know how important the sector is, so we’ve doubled the size of the existing contract to make sure our VCS organisations get the support, opportunities and information they need to thrive. Please come and talk to us if you’re interested in tendering – there are a couple of negotiation sessions coming up in early June and we’d love to hear your views.” Councillor Donatus Anyanwu.

We’ve consulted widely with the sector and we heard that current support levels should be higher, so we’ve doubled the contract size to £250,000 per annum. We got more specific feedback that the sector wants us to ensure that the service provider can offer high-quality support, particularly in these areas:

  • Organisational development
  • Collaboration and VCS networks
  • Support to access VCS funding
