Charting the history of the proposed Rosendale Road area CPZ’s

3 July 2023 – Tulse Hill/​Rosendale Road CPZ Zone H’ Extension and Brockwell Park to Gipsy Hill Healthy Route Implementation

What is the current status of the proposals? 

Following the council's decision to extend the Tulse Hill CPZ, make permanent the existing Phase 1 Brockwell Park to Gipsy Hill Healthy Route (Norwood Road to Turney Road) and extend Phase 2 of the Healthy Route (between Turney Road and the A205 South Circular), the project has been handed over to our contractor for construction and installation of the lining and signing.

What are the plans? 

It is anticipated that the works for the both the CPZ and Healthy Route will start the week commencing 17 July 2023 for a period of approximately 10 weeks, weather permitting.  Additional works for the new pedestrian crossing in Turney Road will be carried out from the week commencing 23 October 2023 and should last for approximately 3-4 weeks, weather permitting.

All properties within the extended CPZ boundary should shortly receive an implementation newsletter, which also includes an indicative works programme.

How do I apply for a parking permit? 

Permit applications can only be processed one month prior to the zones going live. 

These measures are anticipated to go live on Monday 2 October 2023. Therefore, no permit applications for these new zones can be processed before Saturday 2 September 2023.
