Use this guide to help you find information on making a noise complaint.

How we respond to noise complaints

Our contact centre will take details about the incident, and pass these on to the officers on duty. You will then be called back to confirm these details and ensure that the noise is still happening.  

We will attend and assess the noise from inside your home, in the room in which you are being disturbed. This must be a habitable room such as a bedroom, living room or study. 

We work in partnership with the police to manage serious noise issues. For less serious issues we will usually contact the reported source of the noise.
