- How does Lambeth Council currently support self-funders with their care brokerage requirements? What support and guidance is the council committed to providing directly to self-funders and what is the process in place?
- Does Lambeth Council have an approved provider list that it shares with self-funders to assist them with sourcing the care and support they require and if so how does an organisation join the approved provider list?
Our response
- We will assist self-funders to broker care, the process is to contact Adult Social care and request assistance. Brokering of residential care is non-chargeable and brokering care for home care is chargeable.
- There is a proved providers framework - we have 80 plus approved providers. The list is currently closed for new providers, but this is kept under review.
