Spending on independent special school places and placement fees.

Your requests

  1. for each calendar year since January 2018, the total spend on independent special school places for EHCP recipients.
  2. for each year (as above) the total paid in placement fees to each independent special school. Please can this include the name of the school and their postcode, whether they were S41 registered and how many EHCP recipients were placed there.
  3. the same as Q 1 but for non-maintained special schools.
  4. the same as Q 2 but for non-maintained special schools.  I'd like for this to be contained in an Excel spreadsheet if possible please.

Also, I recently submitted an FOI on school supplementary grant funding [ref: IRN12337593} but I have some follow up Qs if possible. Rather than submitting a separate FOI, I will number them as part of this one, but feel free to forward to a different department.

  1. did the LA passport the SSG funds to special schools as well as mainstream schools?
  2. if it was passed on, what methodology was used to calculate the amount of money passported to special schools? And the total amount passed on?
  3. if the LA did not pass the SSG on to special schools, what did they do with the money retained?

  2. all Special Schools and Resources bases tops ups increased by 4% which was comparable increase that all mainstream schools received in Lambeth via SSF and SB increase
