Every Thursday for 12 weeks starting Thursday 19th September

For parents/carers and their children aged 5 to 11 years. Come and use library books and other resources for help with school homework.

This session inspires people to read more and encourages them to share their enjoyment of reading and celebrate the benefits of reading.

Clear Community Web host 

A sociable adult knitting and crochet group. Bring your own knitting/crocheting or use needles, hooks, wool and knitting patterns provided by the group. Help is on hand for any knitting/crocheting queries.

Crime book group for adults. Books are selected from the libraries collection and distributed amongst the readers each month to discuss at the following meeting.

A chess club for all ages and abilities. Chess boards and pieces provided.  

LHS members’ shop has a huge range of garden and horticultural supplies, bedding plants in the Spring and bulbs in Spring and Autumn plus top quality seeds, tools and equipment, compost, horticultural sand, grit and gravel, and floral art mat
