A club designed to support children learning to read, struggling readers, and those learning English. The sessions are led by a retired school teacher and provide personalised guidance to help children build confidence in reading.

Adult book group reading mostly adult fiction, both contemporary and classic, prize-winning authors, fiction in translation and occasionally non-fiction books. All books are selected from the Library’s Reading Group Collection.

A sociable adult knitting and crochet group. Bring your own knitting/crocheting or use needles, hooks, wool and knitting patterns provided by the group. Help is on hand for any knitting/crocheting queries.
