Meet outside Prince Consort Lodge (Trees for Cities) in Kennington Park, SE11 4AS  

In 1848 the Chartists held their mass rally on Kennington Common, six years later the Common was enclosed and opened as a park. Hear stories of revolution, royalty and “model houses for families”, fountains, fitness and spies and plants, politics and play. Led by Marietta Crichton Stuart, chair of the Friends of Kennington Park.
