Talk: Can’t See the Wood for the Trees? Lambeth’s Woodland Heritage Revealed

A talk on the history, evolution and current status of Lambeth’s woodlands, including how they managed to survive to the present day or have changed to reflect different attitudes and uses. As well as remnants of the original Great North Wood, some of our woodlands have more recent origins or hide some interesting or unusual uses of the land that they now occupy. Going forward, what are we doing to conserve, extend or add to, Lambeth’s woodlands, and how will issues such as climate change or plant diseases affect how our woodlands look or are managed?”
