“SHERO” Black Women's Health Initiative - Launch event

Community event focusing on Black heritage women’s sexual, reproductive and family health in Lambeth. 

“SHERO - Reclaiming Black Women’s and Family Health” is being held at St Mark’s Church Kennington SE11 on 23 November 2024.

On the day, you can expect: 

• Free health checks 
• Entertainment 
• Face painting 
• Discussions on Black history 
• Refreshments and more. 

This initiative is part of the wider and long-term programme of work dedicated to improving the sexual and reproductive health of Black heritage communities. 

Lambeth’s partners CAHN have recently been contracted to deliver targeted Sexual and Reproductive Health and HIV prevention Outreach Service for Black African, Black Caribbean, Latin American and other minoritised ethnic groups across Lambeth, Southwark and Lewisham.
