This year’s fair is being held in the West Norwood Library and Picture house. This intriguing building re-opened after refurbishment in 2018 and is fully wheelchair accessible.

West Norwood railway station is only a couple of minutes’ walk away and buses 2, 68, 196, 315, 322, 432, 468 & 690 stop nearby. Meet members of the Lambeth Local History Forum to learn about their work and how you might join in. There will be local history publications on sale.

Entry to the fair is FREE and there is a café on site for light refreshments with toilet facilities.

River Effra
Walk TIME: 2.00pm
– meet outside the library entrance
Jon Newman, Lambeth Archivist, leads a one hour walk along the course of the Effra at West Norwood; looking at the surviving landscape evidence for the river that disappeared into a sewer in the 1860s.
