A 16-mile led cycling tour by Jon Newman in the footsteps of the Lambeth churchwardens of the 17th century, who would spend two days perambulating the parish to “beat the bounds” of the parish of St Mary Lambeth. Starting on the Thames near Blackfriars Bridge, going south to Crystal Palace and returning via Brixton Hill to the Thames at Nine Elms: they took two days; we will do it in six hours.
