Venessa Taylor brings two decades of experience as teacher and assistant headteacher to the creation of the Baller Boys series. Aimed at encouraging boys to find pleasure in reading, the football-themed stories are written with young readers in mind. Venessa is passionate as a literacy leader through her creative writing, and this paid off when Baller Boys was voted The Best Children’s Book for The People’s Book Prize 2021.
