In March 2018 Lambeth Council was successful in securing Good Growth Fund money from the Mayor of London to make better use of the disused building at 30 Wootton Street.

The Waterloo Works! project aims to repurpose 30 Wootton Street, SE1 on a temporary basis to support businesses in Waterloo, provide opportunity to local and Lambeth residents and bring Better Jobs to the area.

Proposals include the refurbishment and extension of the disused Council building to provide much needed office and affordable workspace for ‘start up’ and small and medium sized creative and digital businesses.

Under the proposals the site will also provide a new community and events space, enabling the delivery of an enterprise support programme, both of which will be accessible to local and Lambeth residents.

You can attend one of the public consultation events on the junction of Wootten Street and Greet Street, where you will be able to view the proposals, meet members of the project team and share your views.
