Outcomes

Please note this consultation is closed

Sunnyhill Nature Garden is a nature site over the railway tunnel between Sunnyhill Road and Wellfield Road SW16. Local people and groups are working with Councillors and Lambeth Parks Department to channel a caring community here and an outdoor base for nature activities for local people of all ages.

Sunyhill Nature Garden has been closed for many years, and has recently passed to Lambeth Parks department. There is no intention to introduce open access. This is rather an opportunity to support the development of a community-managed local place for people to experience birds, hedgehogs, butterflies and other wildlife within an organised programme.

This consultation aims to assess initial support for a community nature garden at Sunnyhill Nature Garden, including discussing opportunities to participate in future workshops, volunteering and develop a Steering Group for the project.

How to respond
