We want your views about our draft Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) connected with Section 106 agreements and employment and skills initiatives.

Our draft Lambeth Employment and Skills SPD sets out an approach to securing appropriate in-kind and financial contributions through Section 106 agreements towards employment and skills initiatives. It sets out the obligations which will be sought from developers at the construction and end-user phases of development. These will contribute towards employment and training activities to mitigate the impacts of development and ensure that local people can better access job opportunities arising from new development.

The guidance in our SPDs supports policies in the Lambeth Local Plan 2015. SPDs cannot establish new development plan policy, however they will be taken into account when reaching planning application decisions.
