Purpose
Individual street trees may become subject to proposed felling for a number of reasons - felling is always the last resort. It may have been implicated in building subsidence and damage. In these instances, Lambeth Council is obliged by Law to run an open consultation for a period of 28 days from the date that the notice is attached to the tree.
Please see below current single-tree removal consultations and their outcomes:
Tree Removal Notice
Location: 3 Caldervale Road, London SW4 9LY
Date notice affixed: 31 May 2024
Lambeth Council propose to remove this tree and are running an open consultation period of 28 days beginning on the date notice affixed which is 31 May 2024.
Following investigations as part of Lambeth Council's normal tree management practices, the Hawthorn Tree outside 3, Caldervale Road has been conclusively implicated in subsidence related damage to the property and regretfully, we have concluded that it must be removed to prevent further damage.
