Health

  • Black Prince Trust - is a community hub running a range of health and wellbeing programmes.
  • Healthwatch - is where you can have your say in shaping and improving local health and care services.
  • Lambeth Together - is a big project looking at how we can improve the health and wellbeing of people living and working in Lambeth.

Local projects

  • Big Local Impact, North Brixton - is the partnership for local people to guide the overall direction of the area and provide recommendations for how it can be improved.
  • Project Smith - is the community connector programme.

Older adults and disability services

  • Age UK Lambeth -is a support service for  those living in Lambeth predominantly supporting those over 55 but some services also support unpaid carers  or those over 18  with a disability or long term health condition.
  • Disability Advice Service Lambeth (DASL) - is a disabled people's organisation which works with disabled people, including those with mental health support needs, older people and carers.
  • MYcommunityDirectory - is a directory of services to help make accessing information in Lambeth as straightforward as possible.
  • MYsocial.London - is a social membership service to help you make friendships, connect with your community, and do things that make you happy.
  • Wheels for Wellbeing - is an award-winning charity that supports disabled people of all ages and abilities to enjoy the benefits of cycling.

LGBTQ+

  • LGBT Hero - is our local partner organisation that supports the council's whole systems approach in addressing the inequalities experienced by LGBT residents.
  • METRO charity - offers people in London a range of services for LGBTQ+
  • Mosaic LGBT Youth Centre - supports, educates and inspires the young LGBT community of London, aged 13-19.

Young people

Jobs and opportunities

  • Opportunity Lambeth - is the innovative new employment support service that makes sure that residents are the first to benefit from investment in the borough.
  • WorkWise - is an employment service that we're running with St Mungo’s, funded by the Department for Works and Pensions. The service aims to help Lambeth Housing tenants into employment, training or volunteering.
